Architectural Restoration

Three pictures that Show the damaged cornice that had been chopped through years ago.

Templates were taken, moulds made in our workshop, then fully restored the area, making good matching exsisting ready for decoration.

Damage to the ballroom bar area.

Moulds and squeezes were taken on site the cornice was made and fitted then the enrichment was inlaid.

The enriched under beam panel was also fitted to a plain beam in the same area with a plain moulded edge to balance things out.

Yet more damage to the Bell Inn !!
Beams just chopped off so stage lights could be hung from the beams.

Templates were taken and moulds made in the workshop. Sections were supplied and fitted ready for decoration.

Left: shows the before and after cleaning. Taking the only decent pilaster cap off and taking off all the years of paint. Repairing where required, moulding, making, and supplying and fixing of six caps making good ready for decoration.

Shows the plaster bases. Again taking off the only good one moulding and replacing all six.

Left: shows the wall repaired, re-rendered and plastered by ourselves and the plain overdoor top moulding fitted as per original. Plus another wall panel repair.

Below: shows the complete plasterwork around the door. Also adapting the panels on the wall. Also making a mould of the plaque above the door. Casting, supply and fitting as required. As per original.

Central pillars were taken down years ago and were badly damaged.

The pillar bases and tops were virtually non existent, but just enough to take a template to remake.

All four pillars were repaired and caps and bases attached.

The pillars when repaired and re-fitted, put the finishing touch to the beautiful ballroom.

Both sets of pillars fitted with a 1st coat of paint applied.
