The pictures below show the laying down of a section of damaged cornice taken from a restoration job. Picture top left Showing damaged section. Picture top right Shows a cold pour silicon mould being applied after making good damaged areas.

Picture bottom left Detail being picked out ready to re-pour as model section. Picture bottom right Sections re-moulded and model laid down ready for full length to be moulded and cast for job. All sections of this project were re-manufactured in this way.


Above left Sections of mouldings fitted ready for making good. Above right Shows sections of cornice and beam panel befor fitting. Both sections were manufactured in 3 meter lengths.

Job complete The Derby City Council conservation department were very pleased with way the work was carried out and to a very high standard.
